わたしについて

東京の小さな盆栽店で働いていた日々が、わたしの植物との旅の始まりでした。

それ以来、日本で18年、そしてニュージーランドで7年、庭と植物に関わってきました。

日本では100年以上続く老舗の造園会社にて経験を積み、庭づくりの基礎から実践までを学んできました。

その経験をもとに、ガーデンデザインや現場での施工をはじめ、日本のガーデニング雑誌でのイラストやコラム制作、ガーデンデザイナー向けのレクチャーは全国各地で開催し、100人規模の講座も担当してきました。

これまで一貫して、庭と植物に寄り添いながら歩んできています。

現在はニュージーランドを拠点に、レア植物を扱うナーセリーやガーデナーとして、そしてランドスケープデザインの現場にも関わりながら、図面制作や植栽計画、庭づくり、メンテナンスに携わっています。
あわせて、ニュージーランドのネイティブ植物の特性や活用についても学び、現地環境に適した庭づくりを行っています。

引き続き、日本の企業や公共空間の庭づくりにおいても、デザインや植栽計画、コンサルティングを行っています。

My journey with plants began at a small bonsai shop in Tokyo.

With over 25 years of experience in Japan and New Zealand,

Since then, I have been working with gardens and plants for 18 years in Japan and 7 years in New Zealand.

In Japan, I gained hands-on experience at a traditional landscaping company with over 100 years of history, where I learned both the fundamentals and practical aspects of garden making.

Building on this foundation, I have been involved in various aspects of garden work, including garden design and on-site construction, as well as creating illustrations and writing columns for gardening magazines in Japan. I have also delivered lectures for garden designers across the country, including sessions with audiences of over 100 participants.

Throughout my career, I have consistently worked closely with gardens and plants, developing a deep, ongoing relationship with both.

Currently based in New Zealand, I work with a nursery specialising in rare plants, as well as in garden maintenance and landscape design projects, including drawing production, planting design, and garden creation.
I also continue to learn about New Zealand native plants, creating gardens that respond to the local environment.

I also continue to work on garden projects in Japan, providing design, planting plans, and consulting for companies and public spaces.
